We are looking for an English speaking Housekeeper to help with the day to day cleaning in our small Bed and Breakfast. Just 5 guest rooms to look after…

Duties will include:
Clearing breakfast, loading dish washer, and cleaning breakfast room
Cleaning bedrooms and the adjoining flat
Making beds and general housekeeping duties
Laundry, and some ironing
Helping with the garden, such as mowing the lawn, weeding, watering etc

We require smart and presentable staff for our award winning dinner show excursion “House Of Illusion” as well as upbeat and stylish waiting staff for an exciting show bar opening in the Summer 2012.

The chalet host role will involve looking after our highly valued guests, making them feel welcome and happy in the chalet that will become their home for the week. Your main role will involve maintaining extremely high standards of cleanliness, which will involve daily cleaning throughout the chalet. You will also be “front of house” at meals, ensuring that the quality of the food delivered by the chef is matched by your levels of service.

Duties include:
• Offering warm hospitality and looking after guests during their stay
• Creating a weekly menu to include breakfast with cooked option, afternoon tea with homemade cakes, and a 4-course evening meal 6 days a week (including cheese course)
• Daily canapés
• Preparing, laying out, plating up and clearing of all meals
• Daily cleaning and tidying of the chalet (making beds, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen and any shared space in the chalet)
• Weekly cleaning of chalet on change-over day, preparing for the arrival of new guests
• Cleaning and maintaining the hot tub
• Weekly stock-take, and shopping for food, according to a budget and guest levels
• Maintaining and observing all hygiene, health and safety standards
• Clearing snow and ice from paths
• Preparing kindling and laying and lighting fires most evenings
• Ad-hoc other duties as required

We’re currently looking for a Cleaner to help us this winter season in Morzine.
The hours are as follows

- 1hr 30min daily clean of chalet (5 times a week)
- 4hr clean of the chalet on changeover day
- Day off is Wednesday or Thursday

The pay is 10 euros per hour and we need you to start ASAP.
